On the Rebel’s side

The Rebel is the archetype that guides us. The Rebel is not necessarily muscular and tattooed. Today, the rebellion is, first of all, an interior act. It is the refusal of flattening, it is the radical and total refusal of a society in which pleasure is determined by likes on FB and the pain by hysterical noises of the digital social world.

The Rebel is the one who is not afraid of suffering or violence and indeed it is fascinated by it, as an integral part of existence. The Rebel knows that without pain and suffering there is no joy and pleasure, so there is no life. The Rebel embraces the light and the shadow. The Rebel is the one who works hard everyday, is the one who educates himself on books and feeds on art and culture, the one who is fascinated by the silence and knows the value of introspection, the one who takes risks by climbing mountains, the one who trains diving into frozen lakes or practicing sports of bravery, he is the one who makes himself the bearer of an “alternative” thought throughout the words, but especially with action and example.

Today, the Rebel can not be “mainstream”, he can not be the fascinating archetype of a crumbling and corrupt society. He will always be an outcast, a “loser”, because he does not agree with bowing to rainbow hypocrisy, empty and slick. However, in the Rebel’s defeat there is his victory, because thanks to his choices he lives authentically.

His passage is a wonderful glare and not a shadow that wanders across the unconscious fog without leaving any track of his passage.
