Stop moaning!

I say this at every philosophical chat with the students of our courses. The listener looks at me, says I'm right though they don't give much of a thought to the concept and after a few moments, the only real starting point (even of arrival in reality) to transform oneself from a mere biological machine to a conscious individual, vanishes without leaving any trace. How can I be sure of this? Because a few minutes later those who agreed are already complaining about something trivial.

Many of the people who attend Yoga courses or classes expect that some technique, or even simply because they stretch and lengthen, will magically change their lives. Some become obsessed with some diet, others read complex esoteric books that they are unable to understand.

They do not understand that the only thing that could really make the miracle happen, is a change of attitude or paradigm of everyday life and not some magic wand that comes out of nowhere. Mine is not a hypothesis but a fact: anyone who takes up the challenge and dedicates a month to eradicating the habit of complaining, firstly with words and then with thoughts, would find themself in another world. Their eyes would never be the same and they would acquire a power that is totally unknown to them.

When you moan, you lose energy and delegate to the outside the only possibility of understanding and turning consciousness. If you stop moaning, you consciously become responsible of your life and you will find that you have the strength to do everything.
