"He who believes in me even if he is dead, lives" (from the Gospel according to John)

"He who believes in me even if he is dead, lives"

Before the brief comment, a premise. On this blog, you can find commentaries on sacred texts from different religions. This is because the writer sees in them the expression of the same Truth.

Those who believe and are aware of the eternity of the spirit "live" eternally. I emphasize the present tense of the verb "lives" because this will not happen in a future with a hypothetical resurrection, but in the now. God is the God of the living because all that exists is life. Celebrating the Lord means doing our best with the shape we have been given.

Each of us is the form, but also the spirit that emanated it. Every moment of presence is a prayer of thanksgiving for this miracle. Death is a transitory return home into the current of the spirit from which other forms will then come to life.
