Sense of the Sacred
Among the most dramatic losses the "evolved" man is experiencing, there is the utter loss of the sense of the sacred. The roots of this loss are distant, first Christianity supplanting pagan spiritualism, convincing the flocks that by behaving "well" on this earth they would earn eternal life. In essence, it has transformed sacredness into an exchange based on fear. Moreover, Christianity has placed man at the center of creation, laying solid philosophical foundations for the separation of the human being from his Mother (the earth) and then justified any exploitation of the latter for the "well-being and comfort" of the matricide.
Today the new religion called "science" has completed the job, leaving the human being with a sense of emptiness and loneliness never felt before.
The laceration that produced the separation from nature must be healed by recovering the sense of the sacred, understanding that we are not at the center of the universe, but only a part of it, that we flow as a shining uniqueness from the Mother and to her we will return once we have completed our journey on this Earth. Like everything real, however, this "sense" should not be sought outside but nurtured "inside".
