Authentic sports culture must start from the bottom

A contemporary young person might think that the current Olympics are a sporting event and not an entertainment show and an indoctrination as they have actually become. A sort of Sanremo festival.

How can you develop a genuine sporting spirit when at school children/teenagers are mostly sitting their a**e ? How can the educational aspect of sport be understood in two hours a week when it should be at least two per day?  Sport should be educational and for those who have a holistic sense of life it is culture absorbed directly by mind and body.

Children and young people should play, climb, run and not be normalized to the point of rotting on a desk. The school educates to be servile and not protagonists. Authentic culture should become holistic, i.e. not giving more importance to the mind than to the body.

The school institution educates to be servile and not protagonists. Authentic culture should become holistic, i.e. not giving more importance to the mind than to the body. A boy who is good at math is worth as much as the one who runs fast and both as well as the one who is neither analytical nor fast but is perhaps courageous. All virtuous characteristics should be valued and children pushed to improve where they are most lacking.

Indoctrination today sponsors ineptitude and inability as well as giving value to cunning, i.e. circumventing the rules and the sense of honor in favor of gain and victory. Today's young people are not horrified by a footballer who throws himself to the ground faking a foul but they consider him normal and intelligent. Victory is worth nothing if achieved by deception and sponsored sport today is just consumerism without any value.

Anyone who is aware of all this should do their best to sow the seeds of a new sports culture that starts from the bottom.
