The immense system of Beauty

He who does not have or has never had imagination, feelings, ability for enthusiasm, heroism, for the living and great illusions, strong and varied passions, he who does not know the immense system of beauty, who does not read or hear, or has never read or heard poets is he really living? 

These are the words by Giacomo Leopardi, written in Zibaldone on October 21, 1821. If, since then, the quantitative conditions of Italians have certainly improved, the qualitative ones are in constant decline. 

I invite you to do everything possible to cultivate these qualities with particular attention to "the immense system of beauty". Beauty, alone, can save your little big world and seeing it depends only on you.
