Positive Thinking

Despite my hypercritical position towards our society and the direction taken that is leading directly and quickly towards a collapse, many are amazed at what seems to be my exaltation with respect to the time we are called to live.

I want to clarify. I am convinced of the catastrophic collapse towards which we are headed. I am aware of a continuous media bombing that aims to make "true" emergency fantasies, made real by credulity, and to act on them as if they were true of those who listen to them. I believe there is no possibility of balancing this self-destructive tendency based on a total unawareness to which I do not believe there are remedies. The words and actions of so many friends, who are however a small minority, cannot stem the dark slime that is overwhelming us.

Having said that, however, it must be considered that we live in a wonderful world in which flowers sprout even among the cracks of a gray cement. The resistance, which has nothing to do with the grimy resilience, which is consolidating, is of moving beauty. I feel much closer to the humanity around me today than I did a few years ago. It's as if there is a catastrophic earthquake taking place that unites us more, makes us feel closer to each other and reminds us of the urgency to live every single moment because the next is not granted. The era of the couch potatoes is ending and that of heroes begins, the colours have never been so vivid, the sounds never perceived so deeply, the hugs with people never so "real".

We live a fantastic moment, we just need to have our eyes trained enough to notice it.

I look around and see beauty and opportunity made brighter by the darkness that surrounds them.
