The inhabitants of Western countries live in the myth of freedom and have been convinced that they live in the freest society ever. The reality is that no human being has ever been controlled and manipulated as it is nowadays. The inhabitants of the postmodern era are actually addicted to "comfort" that has become the yardstick of everything (the more comfortable my life is, the less I have to do, the less I have to think the better I am). 

The "new" post-modern man is brought up from an early age to live an unnatural life. They enter at a very young age in a school system that "normalizes" them forcing them to spend hours at a desk getting bored, studying useless things that rightly they do not give a damn about and then become a immature, socially useless adults, who live a reflected life through gossip and fake emergencies promoted by the digitization of relationships. The first step towards freedom is to understand what is happening otherwise you will remain a slave/zombie, jailer of yourself.
