Life is an experiential laboratory

Detached Indignation

We should be here, I mean on this Earth and in this body, to experience, to know ourselves and our nature through direct experience. Instead, incomprehensibly, more and more of my peers confuse this with "second-hand" learning. Until a few years ago this false knowledge was through books which are not reality and authentic experience, although at least require an intellectual commitment and are sometimes maps that promote and help the individual with the authentic experience.

Now "learning" is through the network that deals mostly in information passed off by the dominant narrative that most of my peers absorb as absolute truths and replaceable to experience. The result can also be seen from the expectations that more and more students have towards the courses we host as a school. Instead of an authentic and vital experience that can lead to a proper and creative vision of reality, many require instructions for use and trivializations of complex reality such as: with this mudra I heal the prostate, using that note helps farting less, with that position I "open" that chakra, if I eat that I'll shag more (nope, shagging is already a lot of stuff and perhaps part of my vintage culture, now they rather choose "I have more followers" or I enlarge my "community"), with that vibration  I am reborn mountain deer.

Honestly, if on the one hand the situation could be experienced as "demeaning", on the other, taking what you hear as a joke, it becomes almost hilarious. Furthermore, for those who still understand the value of direct experience, in the very near future there will be a lot of space, so much so that the others will stay at home intubated inside an augmented virtual reality to chat to an artificial "intelligence".
