"Just Passing Through" - Marco M.
Just Passing Through
We are all visitors to this time and place. We are just passing through. Our task here is to observe, to learn, to grow and to love... Then we return home.
- Aboriginal Proverb
I am sure that many can be touched by these words and then, a moment later, get distracted, not experientially understand their meaning and immediately go back to being enslaved by the fear of death.
However, if you slow down and go deeper, you can experientially understand the meaning of "just passing through". Only then you'll stop clinging to life until you waste it in a vain attempt to make it last as long as possible. The time available, which can expire at any moment, must be used to carry out our task, which is to develop self-awareness and be lifted up by the breeze of eternity.
There is no looking back, because everything that has been, is here with us. You don't fret yourself about what you have in front of you, because it will never be as you expected. We stay here, aware, because when we learn, grow and love, we are already at home.
