Fake Teachers
Fake Teachers
The world of Yoga is full of insecure people who seek surrogates for their pain through relationships of active/passive subjection with equally lost people. Erich Fromm himself, in his "Escape from Freedom" identified an inverse correlation between inner strength and the desire for power.
Therefore, we can observe teachers boasting themselves as "masters" and, through phrases such as "my students" "my students", laying the foundations for these sick relationships of similar discipleship of nothingness.
The true master has no disciples, has nothing, and needs nothing. Their teachings have no direction and are the simple emanation of who they are.
All those who attach themselves to their pupils/students calling them "their own" are lost in the meanders of their ego and find only and exclusively similar people with whom sooner or later they will come into conflict because their relationship will not heal the existential pain.
To do this, that is, to find inner peace, the process should be reversed: a work on oneself, inner and not external, where one is able to see and observe the needs of one's biological machine without being slaves to it.
