Eudemonìa

My dear friends, if you think that there is a limit to the frenzy that surrounds us and that somehow will end soon, I am sorry but it won't be so. But this is good news for all of us. We have the opportunity to put into practice what we learnt and what we prepared for. I wish you with all my heart to look beyond fear and flattening, to go beyond the idea of mere survival and a state of unconscious prostration. I wish you, as I wish myself, to be able to sail with virtue over the stormy seas and to be able, day after day, step by step to make your life a work of art that rises above mere survival. The prize for this virtue will not come one day in fact, it is already present in the "here and now" in that quality that the ancient Greeks called Eudaimonia or the natural state to which free beings who cultivate ethics as the supreme good tend .

Our inner victory is total, we nurture the community as a virtuous nucleus within a sick organism.
