If I’d ever met a genie

If I’d ever met a genie2.jpg

As a forty-something (better to keep it vague) I’d love to attend school 5 hours every day, go home, find te table already set, have lunch and then go back to my studying to learn new things.

For sure, I would not ask for material possessions, I already own too many things, which I have slowly began to get rid of, it’s my way of working intimately on myself.

I look at something, a dress or a knick-knack and I feel like I don’t want to let go of it because it’s a reminder of someone no longer here or of a very distant past. From that moment and for months on, I observe it and analyse myself, I listen to my instinct and slowly I let it go. I give myself the time I need to think of the person or the time bound to that object and eventually, I manage to part from it.

Sometimes I can even heal some old wound and I believe that the object has stayed with me until then so that I could heal.
If I’d ever met a genie, my first wish would be to go back to high school. As a forty-something (better to keep it vague) I’d love to attend school 5 hours every day, go home, find te table already set, have lunch and then go back to my studying to learn new things, connect different subjects, link history to art, music or to sociology.
Second wish: travelling (of course).

Third wish: I would NOT ask for world peace, I leave that to the many Beauty Pageant participants who have made it their mission. I would ask an antidote to stupidity, so that we could definitely solve all the problems of world at once.
